Angry Moons and Star Bananas

There is no great love,
Without great foolishness,
And from the love I hold for you,
You could call me a King of Fools,
For in my quest for a treasure for you,
I would defy space and sanity,
To pluck you a fruit from the very stars.

But the moon can be quite the jealous bitch,
And wants to stand in the way,
Of anyone trying to strive,
Such great lengths in the name of love,
That it obscured my path and attacked me,
But I wouldn’t let something as insignificant,
As that massive lunar body stop me,
I kicked it right in the face,
And sent it’s orbit flying in reverse,
The resulting tidal waves were an unintended consequence,
Of my dramatic battle to prove my love.

And I dove deep within the belly of a star,
Yet not a single burn appeared on me,
For the flames of my passion for you,
Made that nuclear fire feel like a cold shower,
And in that starfire did I find,
A single tree in full bloom,
Speckled with bananas,
Black and covered with stardust,
I plucked one from the branches,
And flew off, back to earth,
To present you with a gift,
That defied all reason and space,
For that is the only thing worthy to present,
To the divine thing known as you.

And this dangerous trial,
Of angry moons and star bananas,
Is the very least of all the things,
That I would do for you.

Birth Caused Death

The positive result on the test,
Was unexpected and unwelcome,
And the inevitable discussion arose,
On whether to go through with it or not,
And the two of you decided,
Against your better judgement,
To create life.

The months passed,
And you felt your moods wildly change,
As hormones raged through your head,
Not knowing those things necessary to sustain a new life,
Are poison to an existing one,
As they warp the mind,
Changing things that may not be necessary,
To that state called motherhood,
And vital aspects to who you are,
Can soon not turn up.

And as your child is born,
So too is a new maternal you,
While that person that you once were,
Can now find themselves dead,
Death by birth.

Who?

The owls so wise,
Are not concerned with our trivial affairs,
But are concerned with their world,
And after studying philosophy,
They begin to question everything,
And we hear them asking themselves,
Who am I really?
Who?
Who?

Magical Mr. Giggles

Tiffany watched the performance, utterly entranced. The trapeze artists soared overhead, and animals paraded around the ring, but Tiffany’s eyes were transfixed on Mr. Giggles, juggling torches between the rings.

She had met Mr. Giggles outside the tents, before the performance had begun. She was lost from her parents, and that was when he met her. He asked where her parents were, and she told him she didn’t know. She was scared, but Mr. Giggles started acting silly, and she began to laugh. She liked Mr. Giggles, and she could tell he liked her. He picked her up and twirled her around, she loved it so much that she didn’t even mind how hard he was grasping her butt. He then told her that she could wait for her parents in his trailer. That sounded like a good idea to her, and she grabbed his hand and began to walk with him. It was just about then that her parents ran up, grabbing her away from Mr. Giggles and holding her tight. There was some yelling, and Mr Giggles then walked away. Tiffany was sad to see him go.

Tiffany now watched him intensely, as the flames danced around him. She decided that she was going to try and sneak away, to see Mr. Giggles again. Her parents wouldn’t like it, but she really liked Mr. Giggles, and Mr. Giggles really liked her.

Hideous

A mirror in front of you,
Only reveals a grotesque monstrosity,
That bloated pustule of filth and sin,
And you can only try and face it,
To no avail,
You cannot purge yourself of that sin,
Nor abstain from it long enough to live,
It consumes you, that hideous thing,
And there is no hope,
As you expel it from you yet again,
And step from the bathroom,
To those unknowing,
Of your suffering in front of that mirror.

One Little Trifle

Our time together is so fleeting,
That I can never remember your voice,
But time, nor distance,
Nor anything else could kill,
My heart’s aching for you.

And if we ever shall reunite,
No doubt I will be tounge tied as ever,
From your spell binding grace,
I’ll do my best though,
To stammer out my intent.

For though you are my fierce desire,
One who I wish to know in every way possible,
I also know the impossibility of such things,
But I shall not abandon all such notions,
But rather satisfy the most basic of them.

And I will trifle you my love,
For a single kiss,
Surely you could spare one,
To a heart so burning for you,
No matter how you may view me,
Could you bless me with this one thing?

And One More Domino Falls

Steal from all of those you rule,
And pocket it all for yourself,
Proclaim it all in the name of good,
And do it all without any shame,
Let them panic and live in fear,
As one more domino falls.

Cut the legs of any way,
That they might exploit a loophole,
Any way that they could warp ways,
To gain some advantage for themselves,
Watch their freedom and pockets bleed,
As one more domino falls.

Slice apart their vocal cords,
To keep them from decrying you,
Their claims could cause you some damage,
But it’s not a bother any more,
Watch them bleed and gasp for air,
As you proclaim a victory for freedom,
And as one more domino falls.

And when the chain of dominoes are gone,
Chaos and oblivion will roam free.
And when those who rule us so choose,
To knock over every tile for gain,
They see not what they cause,
Just their own short gained profit.
And when the the chaos starts to reign,
I will ask them all,
Was it all worth it?
